| Overview Booking Form Concert Tips | |||
concert tipsLet's make your event a success! Use these tips to know more about the band, the tour, and everything in between.
Q: I need serious help getting this concert off the ground. Any good ideas? A: If you're looking for answers to many common questions about concert production and promotion, please visit our friends at Concert Ideas. Pay special attention to the Event Planning Guide. HINT: You can book Braddigan through them, too, if you'd like support with the booking process! Q: Will Braddigan do a benefit show for my cause and is it free? A: Braddigan does a lot of work for charities and causes around the world, including his own (Love Light & Melody), and chances are he'd love to help you raise money and/or awareness for your cause as well. Performances, however, cannot be "free" in the "cost no money" sense, and here's why. There are expenses that the band incurs every time they perform (travel, accommodations, food) and they have the same expenses that you probably have (rent, groceries, car insurance, phone, hot air balloons), so while the band can't play for free in the "spend no money" sense, they do have a discounted rate for benefit shows. Q: I know Braddigan travels all around the world with the band and with non-profit organizations and our school is interested in events that are about more than just rock n roll... can he share those experiences in addition to laying down the rock? A: He sure can... in fact, this spring the band is offering a special performance option that incorporates stories, slideshows and video clips mixed right in with the set, the fundamental message is this: listen to your heart, find out what it is telling you and go do it. They have also done "Storytellers" type shows and Braddigan has even done speaking events coupled with the performance. Bottom line: the band would love to share their experiences with your school, if you've got a special format in mind, don't hesitate to ask, but if you need us to provide it, we can. Q: I heard that Braddigan is one of the guys from Dispatch, is that true? A: True story. We're not sure who told you that but you should go give them a hug. Braddigan is one of the guys from Dispatch... he's the guy playing drums, singing harmonies and beatboxing, among other things. He and his friends, Chetro and Pete Francis, recently got together for three sold out nights at Madison Square Garden to raise money and awareness for the crisis in Zimbabwe. No, Dispatch is no longer touring. Yes, they are all still good friends (in fact, you may see them popping up at each other's shows from time to time). Q: Is Braddigan a guy or a band? A: Thanks for asking! Braddigan is a guy (as discussed above), but is almost always on stage with two of his best friends (who also happen to be pretty phenomenal musicians) Reinaldo De Jesus (from Puerto Rico) on percussion and Tiago Machado (from Brazil) on bass. Q: Okay, I dig it... so how do I get Braddigan to come play for me and my friends? A: That's why you're here! And we're here to help! Fill out that form and you'll here from us right away with the next steps (be sure to get some decision makers on campus in on your plans!)... we can't wait, so stop reading and get out there! |
